Short Day, Big Fish

Featured Replies

First catch with my new Lew's Tournament SS and Veritas rod.

Been out for about 4 to 4.5 hours, had to come back in because the trolling motor's battery is bad. Need to buy a new one.

Using a NorthStar Kentucky Blue Grass, instead of using a Rage Tail Craw I put a Paca Craw Pumpkin on.

I do not like the durability on the Paca's, the fish tore off one of the claws which was ok, but I put another on and some how the claw got torn and I didn't catch anything on it except maybe a big stick.

Doubled my Personal Best.

6 lbs 4 oz, it was a fatty

Great job! :)

I have issues with some of NetBait's soft plastics. While the Salt Lick seems to last through a few fish (not as much as Zoom), some of their other stuff seems to tear up without even catching a fish. Paca Craws are a very good example. Their trick worms are some what durable lasting through maybe 3 fish. On the flip side the turtles in my lake will go after craw imitation lures and rip the claws off. They also go after any top water lures, but that's another topic.
