Has anyone tried Haunted Lake in Francestown? How is the fishing and can you get a 18' bass boat on there? Just looking for new places to fish. Thanks for the help.

I've fished it once. I have a 14 foot tin boat on trailer and it was interesting getting it in and out. The 'launch' is the sandy area of a road side culvert. I needed to pull parallel to the road and kind of curve my car and boat to get it in. There is no parking and not much room for roadside parking even. I actually had to back my trailer into a hiking trail get off the road!

The fishing is ok. I got about a dozen dinks on the weed edges on crankbaits. They just treated for weeds the week I went though that might have stopped the big gurls from feeding.
