I have been looking for 1/4 and 3/8 jig heads with a owner or gamakatsu hook and black paint . I would like to buy them by the bulk. Any help would be appreciated.

Cabelas or BPS had a kit in their magazine. I can't remember which one it was, but the kit had several colors, including black. But I'm not sure where you can buy just black in large quantities.

What kind of jig head? If your looking for a flipping type weedless head Jan's Netcraft makes an excellant one thatthe sell in packs of 5 for like $3.50. You can get them in green, brown, unpainted, and black. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 oz size. They come with a heavy wire Mustad ultra point hook, 60 degree bend/flat eye. They are every bit as good as any Gamakatsu hooked jig I have used.

ww2farmer It's funny you bring up the jigs from Janns. I bought them last year and you are right it was an awesome jig. I ordered 50 more this year and they made some unannounced changes. The head is a tad different and the weed guard is 20 times stiffer than the one from last year. I called them and they said their provider changed up some things. I told them that the new changes are for the worse. I thinned 2/3 of the guard out and it helped a little. I just looked at Northstar Custom Baits site and they have some nice jig heads availeable in bulk.

Thanks for telling me about the changes in those heads, I bought a bunch of them last year too and liked them, not sure I am going to order them in such a big quantity now. I'll just get a few to see if the changes disagree with me or not.
