Need Help Identifying This Fish!

Recommended Posts

Caught this morning in Spring Creek that feeds into the Tennessee River. I've been trying to match it to pictures online but can't really find a good match. Anybody wanna take a guess?

looks like a sauger. A close relative of the walleye and normally found in rivers.

Yep. Sauger. The blotchy markings are a dead giveaway.

That is actually a very nice sauger from the looks of it. We normally fish for them from about Nov to early spring below Pickwick dam.
