How Many Yards Of Line Is Adequate For These Fish?

Trout, flouder and rat reds don't require much. Bigger reds and black drum could make things interesting for you.

Generally, I fully spool a 2500 sized reel with 15lb Power Pro for trout and smaller reds. When I'm targetting slightly bigger inshore fish, I step up to a 4000 sized reel fully spooled with 20 lb braid

Yep !

I seldom use anything but a 4000 reel with 15# or 20# braid mounted on a mh 10/20 rod. A full spool is a must which is going to be over 200 yds., I don't use mono backing.
