Got some great pics of some big deer on the trail camera.

Here's the smaller one. We are going to let him walk this year. He's only about 4 or 5 years old. He shows up early every morning but is very spooky. He's been educated earlier in life.

This is the Old guy. He's about 7 or 8 years old. He's got a cool right main beam and a long kicker coming out of his left G2. He's also got some junk around his bases. I'm not gonna shoot him though. He's got by best friend's name on him.

Wish I had anything remotely close to any of those deer on my camera. Hunting a hedge row that runs between a bean field and corn field with bedding areas on the north and one of the only 2 water sources for a long ways now with this drought. Of all the pictures I've got the biggest buck was a meager 6 point I know the bigger ones are there, just maybe not drinking from the side of the pond I put the camera on I guess.

oh baby! that makes me want to put down the rod and pick up the bow! those are some good animals.

Bow season starts Monday here in Kansas!

gun season came in here in SC Aug 15th goes out the 1st of Janurary, one of the longest seasons in the country.

Finally got a couple better deer on the camera. I checked it after sitting in the stand all morning, looks like I need to be out in the evening according to my pictures. My stand in in the treeline at the back of these pictures. These pictures are taken in a small clearing between 300 acres of beans and 200 acres of corn with a very small (20x20 foot) pond on it. It's basically the super highway between feeding areas.

Get out early guy's! Here in NW Ohio it comes in next Saturday morning, the 29th. I was out checking #2 woods and have a scarape line with about a dozen scrapes all at licking branches, so twice this week Iv'e set up a ways from th area in the morning to see whats up, Thursday morning 2 mama does with there twins came out and a big freezer doe after that with 3 fawns???? Then a smaller 8 pointer came out like he was scent checkin the big girl, and freshened a couple scrapes, anyway Friday morning one of the mama does came out with her twins and a little later the trip fawns no BIG mama, after about 10 minuets her she come with the buck chasin, they went across the small been field a couple times and he acted like he was waiting not willing to leave her. Everything has been early this year here and I think here the activity is about 3 weeks early??? I am looking for an early winter, cold and wet, Time will tell, but this is 2nd week October action for here! GOOD LUCK FOLKS and stay SAFE!!
