I needed some line today and Bass Pro didn't open until 9am so I stopped off at Academy. They were having a close out and sale on a bunch of fishing stuff.

The Bomber model A in chartreuse and sunrise craw were 23 cents each. They had 14 left and bought them all.

Cordell lipless cranks in silver and crawfish color were 33 cents a pop. Bought all 9 they had.

H2O brand hollowed body swim baits. 4 in a pack 6" 5" and 4" for 88 cents a pack. I bought 8.

H2O brand 1/8 oz swim bait hooks 5 in a pack for 23 cents a pack. All they had were 4 got em all.

This was the icing on the cake. Packs of 1/16 oz brown and green shaky head jigs. 5 in a pack. 1 cent per pack. Got all 15.

GY senkos 5" green pumpkin with black and gold flake for 88 cents a pack. Bought all 12.

Same brand and color as above in 5" Senko swims for 88 cents a pack. Bought all 6.

Guy said they have sales like that all the time. There is still a shet pot of stuff left if anyone is interested. It's the Academy in Edmond Oklahoma

I am about to head to The Texas/ OK border for work in about an hour......Nah i dont feel like driving up to edmond lol. Seriously though, Academy is always having sales. Not too long ago they had the super spots on sale for 99 cents each and the SK Red Eye Shad for 1.99$. I think i spent 40 bucks and bought almost all of them.

I am going to do the same anymore. I have been buying one or two things per paycheck and slowly stocking up. I spent less yesterday and got 20 times as much as I normally do at full retail

Packman89 there is an Academy and a Gander Mountain in Sherman Texas right near the OK border if you're gonna be closer to those.

I went back again today. Found zoom worms like the Rage anaconda's in 10 packs for 48 cents. Found the "bait" brand senkos in about 10 different colors for 48 cents a pack too. Also found about 12 packs of green pumpkin with gold and black flake 3.5" Stike King tubes for 12 cents a 6 pack. These are the coffee sent and heavy salt.

By god if your into fly fishing, there is flys line etc dirt cheap there too.

i walked through the fishin dept.as i always do. I was at the right place-right time.I got (2) 6ft6 m/h lightining rods

for 5.00 each-(1)vendetta 6ft6 for 5.00 also. I grabbed them took them to cashier,that was correct she says.

For once i got lucky. Rods were brand new. I was smiling all the way to my truck..
