Im in the market for a new spinning rod my price range is up to $200 ill be using baits from 1/8 up to 3/8oz but would like a rod rated to 1/2oz i need something with a fast action but a good amount of back bone and sensitivity because ill be mainly using jigs and soft plastics on the rod and #10lb line anyone that knows a rod that they really like in that price range id love to hear and lastly nothing shorter than a 6'6 all advice is great

I like Phenix and Powell. Phenix makes a 7'2" M spinning rod (PHX-S723M) rated from 1/8th-1/2oz. It meets all the other specifications you are asking for. Retails for about 170 before tax on TW. These rods are 36 ton toray blanks, sic guides, dense eva foam grips, and the black on black looks clean. They come with a cover and look JDM-esque overall. I am going to be buying a punching rod from them as well soon they are a pretty sweet company.
