So up here in western New York it's about time for the salmon run. Over the last two years I have gotten to fish it about 10 times with no luck. The local bait shops have suggested Little Cleo Spoons, salmon eggs and skein. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience fishing for them and the techniques used. I would really like to make this the year I catch one. Thanks.

still a little early for salmon if ya ask me but I stopped chasing them years ago but I remember end of September early October being best for me. I always had luck with either cleo spoons or mini marshmallows it was win win with the marshmallows because if the fish arnt eating them you can....
