I just picked up 25 packs of Trigger X baits. Dicks' had them on clearance for $1 a pack. Has anyone used these and what are your thoughts.

I just picked up 25 packs of Trigger X baits. Dicks' had them on clearance for $1 a pack. Has anyone used these and what are your thoughts.

I saw them on clearance at dicks and sports authority and lmao'd. They practically have to give them away and the shelves are still loaded with them. I never bought any for the ridiculous price they were charging but if you could get some for 1.00 a pack then I'd say go for it, I guess.

I bought a couple packs at sports authority..never caught a fish with them..and I paid alot more than  a 1.00 a pak.  >

I have seen them around for a while but would never spend what they were asking for them. The had a red tag for 4.95, not sure if that is retail or the pre-clearance sale price. I figured I'd give them a shot for $1 a pack.

The stuff they are clearancing was the original stuff that was having some problems, mainly rigging and falling apart and stuff. For $1 a pack its not a bad deal, the stuff was originally like 7 or 8$ a pack. They have new stuff coming out this year that is supposed to be a better formula. I personally don't like any of the new generation of stuff, Mister twisters formula was the only stuff I ever caught fish on (Exude) but they don't even make that anymore
