Go-To Bait for Early Spring Bass

Hello All, :)

Just wondering what is everyone's go-to bait for the early spring?

Mine would be a jig and pig or jig with trailer.

Thanks, Blaine :)

Well I always have an X-rap, Buzzbait, and a T-rigged lizard tied on during prespawn.  There my triple play of success :)

Lucky Craft Staysee, Excalibur Lipless cranks, and tubes................. ;D ;D ;D

A 5/16oz chart/white/blue spinnerbait and a black/blue jig, these baits always catchem for me this time of year.

Add the Chatterbait type lures to the spring list. I also fish the Rat-L-Trap this time of year.

3/16oz Baby Boo Jig...L/C Pointer or X-rap...a trap...and a crankbait (norman deep little N, Berkley Frenzy, Bandit Flat Maxx)

Thats pretty much mine to but Im going to try jig and pig since it seems to be sucsusful with the other members.

Make mine a X-Rap or a 1/4oz single willow spinnerbait. Here's my theory. At this time of year, there's nothing resembling food on the bottom. The fish are looking up. Give them something higher in the water column. Don't know if I'm correct, but it makes some sense to me.

Cheers,

GK

Landed a 3lber on Saturday fishing a white and blue spinner.  Think Ill stick with it.  Ive been using mostly black and blue jigs as well so far.  Had the most hits on the spinner though!    :)
