Td Fuego Was Supertuned

Featured Replies

I have a 5 year old Fuego that I purchased off a member her (or TT, can't remember which) that was supertuned and sold because was just an extra.

It performed flawlessly, I did do the amateur maintenance every year and now it is misbehaving. The casting distance is way short and retrieve seems rough. I took it apart as well as I can, cleaned and lubed. No change. I typically spool it with 30# Power Pro. I only use the Diawa oil and Reel Butter grease on the appropriate parts.

Is there anything else I can try on an amateur level? It is going away in the winter for a cleaning anyway, just not ready to retire it for the season yet.

Thanks, in advance, for all of your valuable insight.
