swimbait question.......

Featured Replies

i'm just starting to fish swimbaits, and i have one question, is a 6in swimbait to big for a small fish (1-2 lbs)?

I would say so..But, a active bass will strike regardless of the size of bait..lol

I've caught 8 inch bass on 15 inch worms. I've also had times when 1-2 pound bass would grab the tail of an original Castaic Trout. So like Hammer said, an active bass will hit anything.

Not at all.

I catch 2 pounders all the time on six inch baits. But if you are just after 2lb fish then you will probably catch more of them on a four inch bait.
