Revo Gen 3 Reels

Featured Replies

Where are these reels made?

My gen 1 Revo's and my new Gen 3 STX says Korea. Maybe some other Pure Fishing reels are made in china, but not the Revo bait casters.

Hmm I was taking with a guy who works at cabelas and he said they where made in Sweden ad Korea? Was he wrong

I know Abu is based out of Sweden. I don't know if they make their reels there anymore though.

Did a quick google search, revos are Korean, round reels are Sweden and pretty much everything else is china

My BMAX2 is china, my Revo S and SX are Korea.

Not all of the round reels are made in Sweden anymore. The Kalex and BCX reels are made elsewhere. The C3, C4 and Record reels are still made in Sweden as far as I know.

Checked these Revo 3's out at BPS yesterday, they look good, seem smooth.

I have the S and its a very nice reel. That sx and stx keep calling my name though.

I have 5 of the SX HS and love them. Smooth casting, awesome drag and basically no maintenance.

Are the new sx reels more user friendly than the previous gen sx?
