About the new addition coming in April! Will be my wife and I's first, plus a first grandchild on both sides! Very exciting stuff here in KS!

Congrats! Welcome to fatherhood :-) You'll love it!

Oh, and your dog will treat the child like its own, someone to protect, hopefully!

We have had Labs and they've been phenomenal with all our kids.

Congrats what an exciting time. Babies you change their diaper and they change your life. Its awesome

Congratulations. I brought home one of the blankets my son and daughter slept with the first couple of days in the hospital before we brought them home and laid it on the couch next to my dog. She sniffed it for a while and carried on. When we finally made it home she greeted us at the door and like she had known them forever. She now stands in front of either of my kids when the doorbell rings or someone she is unsure of is in the home or around them. Not in a mean way, just a precautionary way. Animals and kids can share an amazing bond if done correctly. My kids and our cat and dog are best friends. Good luck and again, congratulations!

Congrats. Your dog will love the new baby. All kinds of new smells in the house.

Congrats! Start sleeping now. I have 4 month old identical twin boys and while just having one can be exhausting, 2 is crazy. I wouldn't trade it for anything though, it's the best experience ever. For Christmas, ask for gift cards to Babies R Us or Buy Buy baby. Diapers and formula is insanely expensive. Best of luck to you and your wife.
