Opinions?

Buddy has one that he seems to like, just wondering what others opinions of the reel might be.

Thanks.

They're nice. They just don't turn my screws. I'd rather gamble, and try a Lexa.

If you have ever thrown or seen an exceler, that's all it basically is. I have one and it is alright, but like the Advantage better. It's heavy for it's size, isn't as smooth reeling, and just doesn't seem to have the quality of a reel at that price point. It does cast nice and never feel like it is gonna "die" on me, but they could have gave it a boost with some nicer bearings and lighter components. I may try putting some boca's in it or am just gonna sell/trade it. Decisions, decisions!!

when they first started shipping, cabela's accidentally had them listed for $99 so i got two of them. even at that price, i thought they were merely 'okay'. in fact, i returned one for a refund and sold the other one here to pass on the savings. nothing bad but nothing outstanding about them.

X2 About the only thing different is the handle. I have noticed side plate flex and gear noise with a good load on it.

I'd look at a Lexa.

I have the LH big Lexa and I am liking it.

He wants me to sell his for him, so if you like them keep an eye on the For Sale section. I was going to buy it but didn't realize it was a right handed reel.
