So ive been thinking for the last 4 months ive been fishing by my self..ive tried going to local bass shops and asking about there clubs but there full and the only way i can join is to get a bass boat because there fish on the hudson River In New york.. Is there anyhting i can do to find a fishing partner or to get into a group where i can fish with? I really want to start fishing with a partner or a group any advice?

Find a local club that has a opening for a non boat owner. This is the fastest way for you to learn. There are usually a few boat

owners that need a partner in club tournaments. Prepare yourself to pay for the fuel for the boat owner. You will make some life time

friends in the clubs. Good luck.

You might try posing your question on a New York regional forum.

Try going to NYBass.com and ask there.......

Send John Franco a pm. He is from Albany I think. J should be able to help you out or steer you in the right direction. He is very active in the local clubs.
