Ma Fishing
I've been having awesome luck so far this spring. I've been fishing structure and some of the shallower coves of the lakes I fish. Just have to fish slow!

Caught this fattie late yesterday afternoon on a Zoom Trick Worm on a shakey head. New personal best too! 6lbs. And apologies for the poor quality photo, out by myself and all I had was my phone..

Fishing In Eastern Ma?
I used to fish almost exclusively from shore unless I went out with my buddy on his canoe. But I just recently bought a small boat and now I pretty much just fish from that. Unfortunately there's not too much shore access around where I live, unless you want to do some driving haha.

Thanks Grampa! That's exactly where I was planning to head. My buddy was out there practicing all the way at the north side of the lake and wasn't hitting too many bass, but hit loads of pickerel a couple he showed me pictures of was massive. So that's some good news, fish are up that side feeding!

Fishing In Eastern Ma?
You're welcome! And if the weather cooperates (which it's looking like it should), I will be out on Sabbatia on Sunday morning!

Fishing In Eastern Ma?
Watson Pond is currently closed off, just drove by there this morning. Lake Sabbatia is good, although I haven't fished there yet this year. Lake Rico is a great spot. It's in Massasoit State park in east Taunton. My buddy and I caught a few there this past weekend. There's also Lake Nippenicket in Bridgewater. Right off of the highway. My buddy and I also fished here last weekend and killed them. Water is a little on the cooler side still. Fish slow.

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Has anyone been on Lake Sabbatia yet in Taunton? Fishing a tourney there next week, wanted to now if anyone has had any luck there yet this year? Fished Lake Nippenicket in Bridgewater last weekend and absolutely killed them on a jig and shakey heads. Nothing too crazy on size yet, biggest one was about 3lbs, but between me and my buddy we had 12 bass in the boat.

Still Fishing In New England ??
I've been having luck on lipless cranks, jigs, flukes, and in some cases my buddy and I have been using shiners.

Grubs weren't working either. And I don't have any tubes currently - never used them before, so I have no idea how to fish them. I'd like to pick some up and try them though.

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Has anyone had any luck over the past couple days? I couldn't get the fish to bite anything - topwater, cranks, spinners, frogs, shads, worms, jig, senkos.. nothing. Gonna try a different spot tomorrow or Tuesday, but I'm not certain..

Sandy Didn't Ruin My Fun!
My buddy and I went fishing Tuesday during some of the remnants of Sandy here in SE Mass, and we pulled out some pretty big fish! A handful of 1-2lb Calicos, a couple 1lb+ White perch, and then I got this bad boy - just about 3 lbs. Anyone else catch anything good lately?

Thought I'd Spend A Little Time Fishing This Morning Before Sandy Decided To Start Rolling Through..
Its a little lake a mile or so from my house. West Meadows. Congrats man! How big was she?

Thought I'd Spend A Little Time Fishing This Morning Before Sandy Decided To Start Rolling Through..
My dad told me I was crazy, but I ended up pulling out 5 bass altogether - all around the same size as the one in the picture. Caught them all on a black Senko!

Best Lure/method For Colder Temp.
Usually a jig or jerkbait for me. Today they were KILLING my Zoom Trick Worms though!
