Tuesdays i have the luxury having a lunch break, and being only 5 mins from hm thats where go. After havin a bite i had some time to kill so off to the lake i went. The water is always gin clear in this lake but with the wind we've had its just a little dirty. I threw a chrome spook(which has produced a little recently) and this big girl HAMMERED it! Certainly one of the biggest bass ive ever caught. Im guessing around 5.5lbs or so. Definatly made my day!

thanks guys! that was an awesome surprise! i have seen big fish in this lake, but never could get any of them to bite. I was really just hopin for a peacock(this lake holds quite a few). Boy was i surprised to say the least! Thanks for the replies guys! Good luck!
