Why are Cormarants bad? I have a ton at my home lake and also a ton of Pelicans during the winter. I do know Cormarants destroy trees with there feces and eat the shad but thats about all i've heard about them.

You can buy them from TW for $5.39 but there colors are limited. I have never used the floating version but love the originals, let me know if you have any luck on them i'm curious to see how well they work.

For $145 thats a steal and i think its still there.

I have the Dobyns 685 crankbait rod and love it. I mainly use it for topwater but also use it for 1.5 and 2.5 squarebills which it handles just fine. It really shines with rattle baits and any type of topwater bait. I fish from a kayak most of the time and the size and weight of that rod makes it a great combo in a kayak.

I'm sure many have said this before but Yamamoto Senko, Yum dingers, or Strike King Shim-e-sticks. For trailers Rage tail Chunk, lobster, Craw or Netbait Chunks.

Luckily is it just the tip and thanks for the quick response. What is the easiest way to get the tip off the rod? I will most likely get some pliers and pull it off. -Chris

Recently i had a guide tip insert fall out on my Abu Vendetta rod and I will be getting a new rod under warranty because of it. My question is can i get an insert and put it into the guide or would i have to replace the guide itself. I would still like to use this rod and i'm afraid to use it now since it frays the line without the insert. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Chris
