Hey guys im looking at this rod for my next purchase and was seeing if im on the right page for applications. was planning on using this rod for topwaters, squarebills, cranks down to 12ft and traps. just amking sure im in the same ballpark of what this rod is capable of.

    I would imagine it would. I have the Endurance 695CB and it does a great job with all these applications so I have to think the Max would also work.

    I am sure the one you listed will be a great rod, but personally I prefer the Dobyns 705CB FAST action. I feel I can do so much more with this rod and it is extremely versatile.
