YUM attractant

Featured Replies

Anyone use this product? How does it stack upto JJ's?

i used it and it would just shed off the soft plastics the moment they hit the water, so i would have to reapply every cast.  jj's is much better.

No disrespect to the folks at Yum..there is no contest..Once you dip a bait in JJ's, it's there for months.. :D

i have heard many great things about jjs but the yum stuff sucks, i always used the like the power bait attractor kinda of  a thick liquid, i think it was called berley liquid

I have good success with the Yum garlic scent.

I have some of this. I'm not much of a fan. I don't notice a difference in hookups when using it as opposed to not using it. And like stated above, it doesn't seem to hang around for very long.

I use and love Yum baits, Idk for a fact if it is their LPT scent that makes them successful. Last year I fished a Yum Dinger against my boater's power worm. He missed and lost multiple fish and I hooked every bite I got. Also I fished the dinger on a bridge piling after another guy fished it(I think with Senko), I caught the 5.4 lber on a Yum Dinger that he missed with his bait. This to me is evidence of Yum's effectiveness. LPT (live prey technology) is supposed to be made of certain enzymes that triggers bass to eat - Idk if it is a gimmick or not but I think it works so I marinate all my baits in Yum attractant.

I have used it.  I didn't notice any difference fishing with it as far as hookups and the scent seemed to wear off quickly.  However, I'm a bank fishermen and believe I did see a increase in hits when working my way back through the area I had previously fished with the YUM.  It's almost like it worked like chum.

Most of us fish in different locations under different conditions. You just have to try it to see if it will work for you. Also you can't use it one time without success and say that it does not work. Be open minded when trying new stuff. I can definitely see a difference when I use it. Just might be in my head, but if that does it I will use it.
