Also Check your eyes on your rod for nicks by swabbing a Q Tip in the eyes.If cotton is getting caught on your eye then that might be the culprit. . IF your eye had a crack in it that could be weakening your line.

Hey guys I just won a G Loomis rod of my choice with a limit of $250. Here is my question is do I want to put that kind of money into a cranking rod since i really dont need the sensitivity or should i get another rod. Currently the rods I have are Falcon Bucoo 6-6 medium Falcon Bucoo 6-6 medium heavy Falcon Bucoo 7-0 Heavy Falcon Lowrider spinning rod 6-7 medium fast tip G-loomis IMX spining rod 6-6 medium-light Im leaning on just getting a all around rod med-heav at 7 feet. Do yall have any suggestions on what model I might want to consider and mabye something else i might want to look at too? Thanks, Taylor
