Can anybody tell me...

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me how old these things are, and what a bait so small was used for? I was digging through an old tackle box that my grampa left me years ago and ran up on these, some old Rapala Original Floaters, and some things called a Whopper Stopper? No pics of the rapala's and whopper stoppers yet. Thanks for any help.

Here's  page of addys that I found  while back while going  through a tackle box that was left to me.  Lot's of leg work finding some of this stuff, but it's neat knowing the history.  Maybe it'll help.

Good Luck! 8-)

Read that article, it might be an early version of a Bomber?  One of the founders of Bomber was named Ike Walker. I have no idea, have never heard of Walker baits.

I know a guy that deals in antique lures.  I'll pass the pics along.
