Does this mean Notre Dame has a chance of beathing Bama?

No, not kidding, they were severly under rated, and for good reason, but what they did not do was estimate them correctly, Fla, thought this was going to be an easy victory and it should have been, but I guess they just did not prepair for the unexpected.

I don't think Bama is taking their game lightly against the Irish, and I don't think they have enough to stop Bama anyway, but just as fla's game they had better not come ill prepaired.

It is all about that SEC power.  Best conference hands down................at least that is what ESPN will have everyone believing.

I look at it this way,

Alabama's rushing defense is ranked number one allowing only 79.8 yrds per game, ND is ranked #4 with only 93.3 ypg

Bama's rushing offense is ranked # 19 with 224.6 ypg  ND is ranked 29th with 202.5 ypg

Pretty good match up so far, but when we start to look at what Bama does better than ND it gets to be not so close.

The passing offense as a whole for both sides are ranked pretty low Bama is actually worse than ND, but Bama's passing defense is 2nd compaired to ND which is ranked 21st

Bama's Aj McCarron has thrown for 2669 yards so far, ND's Everett Golson has thrown for 2135

Aj has connected with Amari Cooper 9 times for TD's and with his other recievers for a combined total of 21 TD's through the air.

Everett has connected with Tyler Eifert for only 4 TD's and with his other recievers for a combined total of only 9 TD's through the air.

Rushing TD's for Bama's Eddie Lacy equal 16, out of 184 carries this year he has gained 1182 yards this season.

ND's Theo Riddick has almost the same amount of carries at 180, he has only gained 880 yards with only 5 TD's

Bama looks pretty good to beat ND on the ground and in the air, but one thing I can't help but think about is the kicking game.

Jeremy Shelley has only had to attempt 11 field goals for Bama, he is 11 for 11 , ND's Kyle Brindza has kicked 31 field goals, he is 23 of 31 what this says to me is ND is not able to move the ball on the field or in the red zone as effeciently as Bama.

I say Bama wins anyway lol !!

Throw the numbers out, something tells me Alabama will be as motivated as Notre Dame. It be a game of inches, unless Brian Kelly managed get a no-huddle offense efficiently running for this game. then it suddenly get interesting.

You'd better believe it. I'm no ND fan but they've been written off so many times this year and all they did was win. I give them an excellent chance.
