I did see a video on this Fish Dope that they where putting on a small hair jig.It is more of a gell,I would just like to know where I can buy some?

Never seen Fish Dope for sale. MegaStrike is excellent for hair jigs, and is available alomost everywhere.

Fish Dope is petroleum jelly based...not really the best stuff.  Megastrike is about the best thing I've used for getting fish to hold a bait longer since I tried Powerworms back in the early 90s.

Fish dope is made by Punisher Lures.  It's really made for float and flies.  It is a scent but it really is used to take the action out of flies.  Whether your using the duck feather or hair fly... basically it just stops the movement of the hair for a more suble presentation.

I guess it would but I'm not really sure since I've never used megastrike.  I will say that fish dope last forever.  I've got some on flies that have been that way for 2 years now.  It just doesn't go away.  Sometimes it is exactly what you need though.  I've gone from being skunked to loading the boat just by adding it more than once.

Well I think I may try it then,it won't brake me to try some.

I always tell anglers to keep it away from feathers but I have killed them adding it to Float N flies
