Why Do Bass Resource Videos Never Play

Featured Replies

Every time I hit play that darn thing just spins and never plays for me. Is it because I use chrome?

Ha, I thought it was because I was on my iPad. I just watch Glenn's videos on youTube anyways.

I just tried Rage Rig vid and  Shaky Head vid on Chrome & IE worked fine.

It opened in IE fine but in Chrome it doesn't ever load. I'll have to check my firewall settings I guess.

It opens fine for me but I hate that it won't let me rewind. So yeah, YouTube is what I do.

What's the channel? I will just use that from now on.

Won't load on my ipad but does on my Mac or pc.....

Try and update your flash and other plugins.

No work on iPad here either. Must flash based. iPad = no flash

Ok, let me answer the questions:

1.  iPad doesn't support Flash.  The videos are in Flash (for now), so that's a no-go on iPad.

2.  If the videos don't play for you, then you're most likely using a slow Internet connection, as they're all high-quality videos requiring high speeds to download them.  Work places also often block Flash files, so you may not be able to view them due to firewall restrictions.

3.  Alternatively, our YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/bassresource has most of our videos, but not all.

Hope that helps!

Glenn

His videos work on dolphin browser on my android phone, IE on my desktop and they also work in chrome on my chromebook. Might need to check your settings. Pretty sure it won't work on ipads because of flash. YouTube has a built in player.

They start playing on my computer at home then stop about 5 seconds in. Using Firefox or IE. iPad nor iPhone but I know why already. Hopefully flash will be put to rest.
