I live about 30 min from the Lake of the Arbuckles and I have caught some good fish out of there. But what took place there yesterday is almost unbelievable.

There was a tourn. there yesterday and the winnning sack (5 fish) was 42.04 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing there will be a few hundred boats there next weekend.

Wow jb, that is incredible! Do you know the individual weights? Can you give us the rest of the story?

Who needs Falcon. Welcome to Arbuckle Lake In Oklahoma.

1st Place was the team of Reynolds and Thompson with the largest 5 bass stringer I have ever seen or heard of being weighed in at any Oklahoma Tournamet. 42.04 lbs.

2nd Place was the the team of Vaca and Idleman with another huge stringer weighing in at 28.41 pounds.

Big Bass of the Event was caught by Barber and Rowland weighing 10.70 lbs.

Folks we had 40 teams and weighed in over 15 Bass over the 8lb mark and 2 over the 10lb mark.

We will have full results posted by tomorrow evening on our web page with full web cast weigh in and on the water coverage next sunday. Check out our page for more information to follow on this event.

Thanks,

Rodney Richards

I actually heard about this from my BIL before seeing the results on Basszone.

Wow they didn't even get big bass! Lol it was close though

This is the biggest bass for 6 teams.

2 over 10lbs, 2 over 9lbs and and 2 over 8lbs

Wow. That's pretty amazing, looks like I might have to put that onthe bucket list.

The weather was perfect yesterday in Oklahoma.

How disappointing would it be to have been that second place team? You bring in almost 30 pounds with a 9+lb kicker and only come in second over 10lbs behind the first place team? That's a once in a life time limit of fish most places but it won't even get a second look because of the crazy numbers the winning team put up.

I'm hooking up my boat right now...LOL.
