First time out of my house in 4 days, due the flue, and I find these little guys like 15ft from m,y front door ! I ran in, grabbed the camera, tip toed back out and quickly snapped off a bunch of shots. Sun was low in the West, and pointing straight on them

Cedar waxwings, very cool looking birds. If you've ever held one, or a preserved specimen, it's really cool to feel that those red spots really do feel wax-like, I guess hence the name waxwing.
