Okay I got reccomended the Laguna Baitcaster reel for my 7ft medium baitcaster rod. But I am looking at the Aird reel too. I can get both for $99 here in Australia. 
What have you guys had experience with and which do you recommend? 
What's the main difference between the Aird and Laguna apart from the number of bearings?

the best I can tell the spool and drag system are better on the arid.they have the same max drag since both are the same price I would go with the arid.

I have read that you can have problems with the Aird because the mag brake is located right where your hand will contact the side of the real and has been known to loosen unintentionally causing backlash.  Other than that, i think the reviews were good.

I bet if you open both up side by side there would be very little difference. Almost all of my daiwa internals look the same. My new lexa has a shaft on the spool extending through the pinion gear. I guess they thought that must make a difference and followed suit. The antireverse is a little different but not much. The jump in price between the lexa 100 and the aird is simply due to composite vs aluminum frame in my opinion.

 

Its odd to me that both of those reels are that price there. Can you order on ebay? The laguna is $59 here. The aird $89

I can order the Laguna from the USA and it'd be cheaper than buying here. But the postage cost, it would be cheaper to buy the Aird here.

I would spend just a little more and get a Lexa.  They are getting quite the following.  I handled one the other day and I was really impressed.  I plan on buying a few of these to replace some older reels that need updating.

Just saying I decided on the Laguna, I also picked up a Cabela's Tourney Trail splitgrip 2 piece, 7ft MH casting rod too.
