Help With Finder

Featured Replies

Sorry for similar post, but I am looking for a sonar fish finder that is able to mark way points (dsi would be a bonus).   I would like to stay under 450.00. Any recommendation would help?

I'm not sure if will find would that low but I could be wrong. I would PM Wayne P Man is a Guru coming to finders and understanding them!

I have been looking at the Lorwrance elite-4 and Humminbird 386 di fishfinder and charplotter

Maybe post in here with these 2 you mention. But I would still PM Wayne P or he might even answer your post.

I wish I could help more,

do a forum search for those two units and you have reading material for the whole winter.  i just bought the 385di on sale for $258.  i think now a day's its very affordable to get a combo unit (down scanning and GPS).  side imaging will bump you to the $600+ range.

bought mine off moo deals. they are sold out now but have lots of other models and i'm sure they will be having more spring sales to clear out last year's stock

I just ordered a new trolling motor from these guys which comes in tomorrow.  They seem to be legit.  Are registered with better business bureau and customer service (at least ordering from them) is outstanding.  They have a combo with DI for $399 for you.  Free shipping and no tax.

If you're not in a hurry, wait for TW or Cabelas for a sale. Sometimes TW will give 20% off plus you get free shipping! As long as you go black & white combo instead of color you should be able to easily stay under $450 and get a 4.5" or 5" screen as well. I purchased a HB 597 Ci DI Combo for under $500 that way.
