Hello,

I'm writing you for your support for Our Lady Of Good Counsel high school's first annual Falcons of fishing tournament on May 18, 2013 which will take place on Lake Needwood here in MD. This is the first year of the tournament and we are looking for sponsors for the tournament. If you decide to become a sponsor, your company’s logo will be featured in a hand out which will be given out on the day of the tournament. Here is a list of what a sponsor of the tournament could contribute:

T-Shirts

Product for prizes/give always

Gift cards

Plaques

Hats

Lures

Gift certificates

Our biggest goal is to be able to have T-Shirts for all who participate in this event due to the fact that it will serve as something participants can take home with them after the event.

Whatever you could contribute would be very much appreciated. This tournament will draw alumni, students, parents, and other community members. There will be several opportunities for your company's logo and the name of your company to be exposed. There will be anglers of all skill levels and ages at this tournament.

Your logo and companies name will be put not only on our brochure, registration forms, and on all other paper material, but will also be included in any press releases or email blasts.

Thank you for your time

prizes do not all have to come from the bass industry

my club for our lunker pays out the top 4, only first gets the money the other three...

2 - usually a $50 gift card to bass pro or cabelas

3 - usually a $25 gift card to a local business like ace hardware or lowes

4 - usually two coupons to subway for a sandwhich

expand your horizon id hit any one and everyone. hardware stores, pizza shops, mcdonalds...

have a 50/50 raffle the day of the event, take the 50% from the raffle and use it to buy prizes for next year

its all a tax write off for them and costs them very little if anything

Do not do a 50/50 raffle but do an actual raffle. Charge $5 a ticket or 5 for $20 and raffle off something you get from a sponsor like a rod or reel. We buy a brand new rod and sell enough raffle tickets to cover all of our costs and make a huge profit.
