Hayabusa Hooks?

Featured Replies

Any of you tried out Hayabusa hooks from TW? Can't link to the site....

Their drop shot hooks look just like Gamakatsu, but the deal is a little better, $2.50 for a 9 pack vs same $ for a 6 pack from Gammy. Only one review is up, says they'll give Gammy some competition, but that's about it.

May be picking some up in the near future, just thought I'd seek feedback, if any, before purchase.

Daiichi, Sohumi are also excellent Japanses hooks you may not have heard about, they are all old line companies that make wonderful hooks.

Give the Hayabusa a try out, they make a forged light wire off set worm hook that is second to none.

That's good to know, Tom. Thanks for the feedback.

I bought some light wire daichii offset worm hooks last year from walmat and they are TTERRIFIC hooks. They are sticky sharp and are great with smaller soft plastics. I like them for finesse worms on lightline/tackle.

While I haven't used daichii I have heard good things.

I think I'll probably try out the Hayabusa hooks....

I bought a pack of their flipping hooks. They are thinner than the Gammy flipping hooks I use now, but they are NOT weak or easy to bend. I really like the look and feel of them, but I bought them in December and everything is frozen, so I haven't tried them out yet.

I would happily buy them again; they have all the characteristics of a very quality hook. PM me your cell phone number and I'll sen you a picture of a 3/0 Gammy Flipping hook next to a Hyabusa Flipping hook.
