Does anyone have any experience with Halo Reels, rods, hooks, etc? I want to try them, but I'm trying to do my research first. I'm looking for general reviews; google yields nothing.

The local tackle shop here has had the same two Halo rods on the shelf for the past year or so. I dont know anything about them. Unless they are available at dirt cheap, I would look to a reputable company that has alot of users and reviews. Thats just my opinion.

I know a company who demos halo reels. So that might be a good option to try them first. Pm me if you want the website.

All of their rods are moderate fast action, I emailed TW to ask why and I was told that they made them with super lines in mind so a fast action they felt would be too stiff. I can see that with certain rods but all of them?

I had one of the early Twilight rods and had it broke after a few days use, got the replacement and had that one fail as well.  Decided that was it for me and took my money back and went to old reliable St.Croix.
