Florida. You got to love Florida for bass fishing.

 

My first tournament is on March 3rd and local TV weather guy says we have a big cold front headed our way for that weekend.

 

One year in March my partner and I fished in the snow and ice with two inches of ice on the deck until it melted.

 

Best day I ever had on Lake Gaston!!!

 

That monster lady that took my favorite crankbait is probably in Chicago by now.

 

I will be contacting Teal about Gaston next week for his input.

Ha!! Its all timing. I just always find them too long before the tournament. A week is a long time this time of on this lake.

 

Rarely have I had fish hold that long. In fact that's why I hit them when fishing in advance, if it was the day before I would have shook these fish off..

One year Bassbusters rotated between Oke Tanti and Clewiston I wish they continued that.

 

I guess it didn't work out, I came in 4 that year and 3rd in the Classic. Good Times.
