What does everyone think of the Black Hawks tearing up the NHL right now?  I was at the game on friday and witnessed them make history.

as long as emery continues to play like a monster and hossa doesn't get cheapshotted every other game, we will continue to tear up the league

Getting rid of Turco helped your cause!

Not to be a party pooper, but what it means is you're undefeated in 18 regular season games.  Like winning MLB games in June or NFL games in October.  Yeah they count, but they don't count for playoff wins.

Nice streak though.

Could be their year.

But as said above, the playoffs can be brutal.

Look who won the cup last year.

Go figure.

Very impressive start. But, it's not how you start, it's how you finish. I actually think it would benefit them in the long run to lose a game here soon. The pressure they are putting on themselves to keep the streak going could effect them later in the season or playoffs.

NHL doesn't start until the "second season"

Although, an impressive feat nonetheless.

Go REDWINGS!!

this might sound stupid to say, but if regular season games don't matter, why don't they just start the season with the playoffs haha?

As a long time Boston Bruins fan I'll say this about the regular season; over the years there have been many , many regular seasons where the teams play has been scary good.  Really Dominant.  Then the playoffs roll around, a couple of bad bounces for us, a couple of lucky breaks for the 8th seeded team, who happens to have a goalie who is currently playing out of his mind and what happens - Boom - your done in 4 games and looking for a tee time . . . . .

So, the regular season is fun, but I also believe the the True NHL Season starts in the Playoffs; because That's where the Magic really happens ....
