i was going to fish bassbusters, but decided not to because it took 35 pounds to win yesterday. so my partner and i just went fun fishing. we put in at slims and stayed south all day. had between 18 and 20 pounds with this 8.44 pounder. i thought for sure she was a ten pounder until i put her on a scale and she came up 8.44. a fat beautiful girl.

Didnt know about the weights sat so i fished yesterday, d**n LAKE, first time in 3 months of weekends in the new boat i finally catch a fish over 5 pounds, had 21.03 total and didnt even cash with just 29 boats. Thats right 30 boats and i would have cashed. Had a 6.9 5.9 and a 5, just couldnt get rid of 2 little ones. Missed fifth guy had 21.23. Oh well it was great threw back a hand full of 2's that until this point i would have killed for. Def had a slew of big girls move in recently. Missed one atleast 7. But a great day regardless.

I went out of Slim's yesterday too but no 8 lb'ers for me!  I did well till the fog lifted then it shut down.  Spent the time boat riding around the south east part of the lake and loading some waypoints.

Same experience here..we were catching multiple 3-4s  and then when the sun came out, our bite dried up and we couldn't finish off a decent bag. Our winner though did have 25+ with multiple 8s so they were out there
