Here in S. Fl I run straight Power Pro on both spinning and casting. Saltwater setups I do use a leader.

Palomar knot is fine. It's the only know I use with Power Pro from bluegills to sharks etc.

I love catching mud fish. I hate catching them in a tournament though, always makes ya think ya got a 10lb bass.
