What's the major differences between these two? They both seem to be built the same just different colors on the rods..just curious I've almost bought a veritas quite a few times..the seems almost like the same rod in diff colors.

The Veritas is lighter and more sensitive for sure. You can also get it in standard, winch model, or micro guides. The Vendetta 1 and 2 are good rods, but you can't beat the Veritas for $99. There are genuine differences to justify the price difference.

Both use 30ton graphite. 

 

The Veritas is a little lighter and less tip heavy then the Vendetta.  Between the 2 you listed, I would get the Veritas.  But I would take my BPS Carbonlite over both.

I like the Vendetta better. I've had some problems with guides breaking on some of my  Veritas.

According to TW both the veritas and vendetta utilize a 30 ton blank. However most people would concur that the veritas is a slightly more sensitive rod. Perhaps the two series of rods utilize different components outside of the nano technology utilized in the veritas.

Its worth the extra $20 to get the Sic guides.  However, the Vendetta has a few models in the lineup that the Veritas does not have.
