Ok, I am shore locked here, I have tried spinnerbaits, and texas rigged tubes which seem to be the most successful. From the there there is a lot of deep ledges with submerged trees/bushes/stumps.

This is an idea of what I am working with. What other things should I try to throw? What would you guys do. I am trying to think outside the box here, but no such luck. Ive tried jerkbaits/jigs/Cranks and they all snag up way to easy. Even while using 50lb braid and texas rigged plastics I still get hung up in stuff and break off. The water is also super clear.

Hmmm, off the top of my head comes Zara spook and Lake Fork swimbait.

try topwater or a spinnerbait, if its clear you should be able to see the spinnerbait come through the water and can avoid snags and hesitate it when it comes by targets.

I will try some topwater, I also will have to use my polarized clip on lenses for me glasses. I think that will help me see down a little bit better.

I thought about trying this, and also "power shoting" with like 17lb flouro and getting into the thick stuff. I want to throw my bbz-1, but I am terrified to loose a 20$ bait. If I were fishing from a pond hopper which I hope to be able to soon I would have no problem.

Fish the senko like a jerk bait not a drop bait. With the senko your going to be able to maintain depth better than a regular jerk bait because of the salt. Other soft jerk baits should also work well. If your having a hard time getting cranks through try weedless swim baits.

Also a Spence Scout by Strike King will get through that stuff a little better.

The problem with Senkos is that they sink to the bottom and are probably hidden with bottom muck when they reach there. The drop shot presentation will hold your offering up above the bottom, which is basically what I think you are going to need to do, in order to be successful.

I like the suggestion of using the Senko like a jerkbait. But if you're going to do that, there are better baits to accomplish that presentation; i.e.: Slug-gos, Fin-S Fish, tubes, etc.. In that kind of presentation, you really would be better off with something that doesn't sink so fast, and stays in the water column longer - I would think anyway?

Get yourself a MS slammer knockoff from fishwhittler and hang on. Fish it slow with low light conditions.

Actually I have been using this bait for years they just came back out with it but a Senko will do the same thing.
