Question For T U F - L I N E

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I spooled up #20 last weekend on a baitcaster I use exclusively for shallow crankbaits,

on this particular day, the Red Eye Shad. I was expecting an occasional issue with the

line digging into the spool. This is common with all small diameter braids I have used.

The Tuf-Line Supercast NEVER dug into the spool all day. Can you explain why?

Cuz it's Tuf? Ha ha. I've read that it seems/is a larger diameter than other braids for the same lb rating, so maybe that's why. I've never had any digging in issues with 30# spiderwire except the one time I tried to throw an A rig with it. That didn't work out well.
