Just wanted to know from those that have gone to these seminars how busy it will be? I'm assuming it's gonna be nuts, and I'm looking for any tips from people that have gone to these things with someone of KVD's popularity. Any tips?

He came to one of the shows in Michigan and it wasn't too crazy, maybe 60 people in the seating area. Not to mention it is his home state! I even had time to talk to him afterwards. 

Bring something for him to autograph, like a fishing baseball cap.

 

Don't forget the Sharpie or pen.

 

He is one of the friendliest and niecest guys you will ever meet.

I have a new 6XD in sexy shad I'm gonna try and get signed. Gonna take the hooks off so I don't snag him lol.

Saw JVD last night in the Springfield MO BPS give a DS session.  Maybe 25-30 folks there, plenty of empty seats.  I would expect on a Saturday and with KVD you're going to have a bigger crowd, but if you get there a bit early you should be able to snag a good seat.

He didn't win the Classic this year, so it shouldnt be too nuts.

 

I saw him in Harrisburg right after he won with the Chartreuse/black back squarebill. You should have seen guys fighting over those. LOL

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting KVD at a sports show in Philly I think it was early or mid-90's.  He had won AOY the year before. 

 He was giving presentations on spinnerbaits at the Hawg Trough.

There were maybe 200 people attending.   Afterwords he answered questions. 

I was impressed at his patience and over all good attitude and willingness to make sure he answered what people were asking.

 After his deal, the crowd dispersed and I was left standing there with him.  He was eating his lunch waiting for his next show.  So for like 90 minutes I was shooting the breeze with what has turned out to be a pretty famous guy. 

What I took away from it was that the man is genuine and I've been a fan ever since - really a nice guy.

Oh and he can bass fish a little too.

Yep KVD is a class act.  JVD mentioned last night that one of the family traits is that they are very competitive, he respects his uncle but he loves to compete against him.
