This series was difficult for me to watch, and even more difficult to pick a team to cheer for.  In the end I guess I am happy the cards didn't win.

How bout the rumors from the crew I am already hearing? Keeping Nori aoki or whatever, braun is back so they are looking to deal the other...Chris with a K Davis to Chisox? I dunno man, you think Braun is a keeping, he worth anything without juice in the tank? I mean we all seen it before the juice breaks the body down fast and they fall quick. Guess there isn't really much choice, probably no takers.

I would get rid of Braun to whoever would take him but that is more because of his lack of character.

I have heard about Khris Davis rumors, but nothing linked to the Chi Sox yet.  Have you heard about any of their players specifically? 

 

Braun isn't going anywhere...he is a PR nightmare.  He has always hit at every level, so I expect him to continue to put up solid numbers.

I am particularly interested in what the Phillies try and do with Halladay and Ruiz as both are free agents.  The phillies have some decent catching prospects in the system and i would think at this point in his career Halladay wants a ring and money is not a factor at all for him.

The phillies declined to make halladay a qualifiing offer which could just be semantics but I think they are done with him. He is going else were, to a contender. LA or NY is my guess, maybe Texas. But from what I hear the Yankees want and are willing(supposedly) to pay every free agent out there. LOL

Yeah they declined because te qualifying offer would be 14.1M which is more than Ruiz's entre last contract I believe. Halladay I hope goes anywhere but the Yankees. Exactly he is a big? and the only people dumb enough to throw cash that way are the yanks, we will see with Roy if money talks. That is why I respect Lee, he played were he wanted to not for the ring or the $.

Maybe a 30/15 guy?  I think his wheels are better...just depends where they are using him in the lineup.  He definitely earned a spot to play everyday after taking over for Braun, but Davis can really only play left.

So fielder and cash to TEX for kinsler? HMMMM Tex suddenly got dominant this year. They got 3 speed demons in martins, andrus and profar and beltre, fielder, moreland and cruz to knock them in....

You forgot abotu teh other blockbuster signing......the phillies and their horrible GM Amaro overpaying for a washed up has been Marlon Byrd......Also the ruiz signing which i like sort of but they need to get tommy joseph up there and trade ruiz mid season while he has some value. 

Yeah why they passed on pence and took on byrd I dunno. I mean he was the bright spot for the mets, the mets.

Yeah they could have had an outfield of Pence, Victorino and Dom Brown without spending much more than they already have and they would still be relatively young.

 

Amaro has single handedly destroyed this team by focusing on nothing really other than cliff lee. I am huge Ryan Howard fan but the extension of that contract before the current one expired was just dumb.

I give him credit for trying even if its not 100% sincere. Most of the other offenders just pretend it didnt happen. Then theres arod.

I would give him credit if he came out right away and manned up about it or didn't ben try to trash the guy initially.  

 

A-roid is even worse.....he had the balls to not only deny it every time but then go on a tour talking to kids about not taking PEDs.  I hope he never plays baseball again and is never even on the ballot for the hall of fame since his entire career is a fraud

I am glad though because i hate the yankees but i am not sure i like the phillies playing against granderson 18 times a year
