Lamiglas Infinity Bass

Featured Replies

Has anyone fished with this rod? I was looking at the 735C. It's a very intresting looking rod and I'd like to hear what others think.

Thanks,

Scott.

A quick look and I would say this is the XMG 50 series rods being reintroduced as Infinity. IF this is true the Infinity /XMG is a wonderful rod. Keep in mind a 5 power in this rod blank is close to Xheavy or 6 power for most other rods.

Lamiglas says it's a M/H. Would their power rating be off that much? I would just like a good rod for heavier plastics and medium sized jigs.

The XMG 50's definitely fished higher than they were rated. I had a 724 and it was stout--real stout. I would have easily considered it a heavy.

Go to the Lamiglas website; they have a forum where a manufacturer rep will be able to help you select the right rod for your intended purpose.
