Classic: #10 Randy Howell Winning Gear-Daiwa Lexa

Just an interesting find, while browsing Tackle W'house I noticed the top 10 Classic finishers, of course Cliff Pace being a Shimano guy, but #10 Randy Howell used the new Daiwa Lexa 100 baitcasters....

A top 10 finish for a new reel is not too shabby. <-- tongue-in-cheek. [edit]

Im going to be buying a second within the next month. It is one sweet reel for $100. I love my daiwas. I looked yesterday and I own 7 daiwas currently and I have only ever had one failure.

While I like the reel, I don't think it was the reel that got him the top 10 finish.

I agree. When Jack Nicklaus was asked if he thought Rory was struggling because he switched to NIke clubs, he said that the best golfers in the world are the best because of their ability, not their equipment.

LOL. Obviously his talent got him the win... If it was the reel itself, I could'a won it. Geez.

Just pointing out new equipment used...equipment that I've become a rather huge fan of.

My last sentence was tongue-in-cheek. Perhaps I should have used a different emoticon.

Nah, I hear you.  It just cracks me up to see the lists of "winning" gear.  Half the time, it's not at all what they were using, lol.
