Hey guys, I have a 2000 bass tracker, and I would like to get some type of a repair manual. I am needing a wiring diagram for the boat and would like to see exactly how to remove the decks and recarpet the boat. If anyone knows where I can find one please let me know. I did a search on google, and I really didnt find anything. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

The wiring diagram should be available thru tracker. The rest, not so much.

I hate to say it, but I agree with slonezp.  Contact Tracker.  They have a lot of info.  As for the decks, just look for the screw holes and remove the screws.  I have a Tracker TV18.  On that boat, the screws are roughly eight inches apart and require a #3 phillips.

Yea, the front deck is plywood, already had it off. I want to take off the back deck and look under it, it is all aluminum though and I cant find any screws... I am assuming it is riveted but I dont know. Thanks for the help guys....

Mud, I wanted an electrical manual from Tracker and so far no luck.

 

The boat is simple. Not very complicated. But you still have to have an idea of what goes where, etc.

 

All I can suggest is to call the Tracker service center near you  they are calling the service center a new name so don't get confused when they anser the phone and say "Pro Screwups" or something like that.

 

You may also consider contacting Mercury for their manual on your motor and its electrical system.

 

Remember, you need to get new starter keys from Mercury so you can have some spares just in case you misplace or drop the main key overboard.

 

I threw in the towel and take my Tracker to the BPS service center. They know the boat and how it works. I believe the investment supports safety and no-problem fishing and boating trips. And I have not burned up the electrical system so far.

Lacquer thinner will make the glue turn loose so you can easily take the old carpet off.  Then you will be able to see how the back deck was installed.  Be sure to do it out in the open air.

Sam, the "electrical manual" that I got from Tracker was a one-page schematic diagram, and had nothing to do with the motor.
