Hello everyone, been reading the site for the past year and finally got around to registering. I'm from central Iowa and just started fishing again(just fished as a kid before) this past year after my 7yr old son showed some interest.  Im bank bound and generally just fish local farm ponds, but I've been completely hooked and am seriously starting to escalate this hobby into an addiction.

Welcome!  Ive never fished any farm ponds myself but I hear they can hold some really nice fish.  I think the MD state record was caught in a farm pond.
