Gear Change Advise

Featured Replies

So I am moving away from my 2 rod and reel setup to a more technique specific setup.

I just picked up a Revo STX with Mojo Bass 7'0 MH/F with braid for heavy cover jigs, plastics, and worms.

Next on the list is a Revo STX with Mojo Bass 7'0 M/F with Floroclear line for lighter plastics and worms.

Also a Revo S with Mojo Bass 7'0 MH/F for crank baits and spinner baits. I know I should have a different setup for cranking and spinners but they are similar enough to where I can do both and I quite frankly dont crank or throw spinners all that often so it works financially and keeps gear down to a minimum.

I will also be picking up a spinning setup for pond/shore/finesse fishing. Probably a Revo S on a Veritas rod.

I have retired my Johnny Morris Signature series on a Team All-Star 6'6 MH/F with mono for top waters but I am not sure what to do with my other setup. I have a Rick Clunn reel on a 6'6 MH'F Carbomax and I'm not sure what to use it for. Any Ideas? I am tempted to try to put it up on Craigslist for a hundo...

I wouldn't be mad if you sent it my way:)

I just put in in the trade section. You can use it for a ton of things but I have changed the make-up of my setups so I can't really use it at this point.

Well you can use it as a back up or spare setup if someone goes with you and doesn't have anything
