New Pond...first Big Lm Of The Year!

My dad found out that we could fish a pond not too far from where I live so we decided to try it out this morning...caught a few little LM on a shaky head early this morning then I started throwing a KVD 1.5 squarebill and hooked into a big one...also was my first real test on my new Abu Garcia Veritas and it performed great! anyways on to the pictures :grin: ...Im thinking she weighed around 6 to 7 lbs...didnt have my scale with me :cry4:

Very nice catch Wartown. I have permission to fish a private pond too and other than the owner's adult son nobody else fishes it :respect-059: . But only about 30-40% of it is fishable from shore. Last summer I caught my PB greenie there, and my 2nd best greenie.

Fine Fish regardless of weight! WTG...
