Sebile Magic Swimmer

Featured Replies

From the pros last year, these were one of the hot baits, but I'm not sure if they're worth 17 bucks.  They look amazing by the videos I've seen, I'm especially interested in the size 95 in 3/8 oz.  Anyone with experience with these and what colors?

I have a couple but have not thrown them.

May give 'em a shot this summer and fall.  ;)

the 95, in white lady, is probably my favorite treble hooked bait. thats the only color ive tried, however.

I've been talking to a lot of swimbait folks who are suppose to be - in the know - so to speak. The consensus of opinion: 6" or 8" Huddleston. Just a bit hard to get my mind around it is all.  ;)

I tried the magic swimmer out for the first time yesterday, and while i didn't catch anything, I was also fishing in a lake that was drained for dam repairs, and was just filled up within the past few months.  So to be fair, there is not too many fish available that can eat somethign that big.  The things I noticed is that it casts a mile and a half, ALWAYS swims  true regardless of speed, and also has incredible action regardless of speed.  I'm not sure how it compares, because this is the first bait i've used in this price range.

It's a great lure for bass and pike as well. I prefer the fast sinking model.

from what i hear they're worth it. you should be able to find them cheaper than 17 dollars too, local store around here (that is usually overpriced on everything) had them for 13 bucks.

I have the Sebile and the Strike King Sexy Swimmers. Hard to tell difference in action.

I have caught more on the Sexy Swimmer but I also throw it more due to the annoying habit of getting bitten off by pike or muskies and the fact they cost a little less.
